1991 FIM Pan Pacific Superbike Championship
Conceived as a five-round championship with events hosted by each of the FIM's Pan Pacific countries besides India, the 1991 Pan Pacific Superbike Championship ran just three of its intended races following the cancellation of the Thai and Australian rounds. New Zealand's representative Aaron Slight dominated what remained by winning every single race from pole position - his only strong compeition came from Australia's Malcolm Campbell in the final event at Manfeild. Japan's leading rider Ryuji Tsuruta took part in just 2 races, the Malaysian and Thai nominations found little success, and India fielded no riders at all.
